PLEASE FULLVIEW PLEASE
ah~ my first digital picture. First time using a tablet AND first time using SAI (or any digital art program! - I only used black and white because I didn't want to be overloaded with colors cause I'm a n00b) For these reasons I'm a little too proud of this
SO about the picture; these are two characters that belong in the HTTYD world. The left is my OC Gunnhild, and the right is Mäeve, an OC me and
made. I'm going to do profile pages on them next, with their dragons, but here's some short summaries about them in the meantime. (SORRY IT'S KINDA LONG)
Gunnhild: Is a 17 year old who takes great care in braiding her hair (weaving beads and other things in it), has too thick eyebrows, makes her living by ice-fishing, likes to ice-skate and has a very bad habit of constantly biting her lips. Contrary to her name, which translates to 'fightfight' she is extremely passive and easily scared off. She is shy and skittish and talks softly; she hates loud noises and yelling. An only child, her parents died when she was 14 and she lived alone on the outskirts of her village until she finds her dragon, Hop.
Mäeve: She is also 17 (actually three months younger then Gunnhild) and was the main dragon killer in the village before the change of having them as companions came. True to her name, which means 'intoxicating,' she surrounds and controls through both her actions and appearance. She talks loud and is very self-confident but has a short temper and doesn't like anyone who doesn't agree with her (usually people do, so this isn't a problem). She has a fairly tall frame of 5'11' and likes standing next to Gunnhild, who is only 5', to feed her superiority-complex.
Story: Both of them are from a mining village called Klor, which is far away and inland from Berk; here it snows 11 months of the year. After the change of having dragons as pets, both find dragons (in very different ways; Gunnhild gets hers attached through fishing while Mäeve just goes and captures one deep in the mountains) and become the top riders in their small village. They are then sent to Berk with a few others to form an alliance and become better riders. Gunnhild is shown here in her clothing from Klor while Mäeve is in clothes at Berk; the sudden change of heat makes them both loose lots of clothes (lol).

I have heard the name Maeve before. She's the leader of a Dragon Root Company on Shivering Shores in Dragons: Titan Rising. When I saw her picture, it was like looking Valka's twin sister. Too bad she's evil, though. I mean, she's taken care of a dragon, so she could've chosen to ally with Berk.
